about
This is the first single from my upcoming album, "don't break the silence". The album isn't finished yet, but many of the songs on it are - like this one which is called "cool yr jets, man!"
This song, like the rest of them, was recorded with one microphone on the floor of my childhood bedroom, played on a classical guitar that was found in an unknown, closed down school building that is broken, held together with electrical tape and requires a pair of pliers to properly tune.
The songs on this album were written after a long period of writer's block and many exceptionally difficult life changes.
Five other songs are written and recorded but the album is not complete yet, nor do I know when it will be completed - but ideally it will be finished very soon. The songs written thus far were written in the span of about a week and a half in rapid succession, so we will see if that inspiration continues.
This is one of the many songs I am writing for myself, but I hope you get something out of it too - and maybe come back soon to hear the rest of the songs too when they are done.
Thank you so much for listening and I'll talk to you soon :-)
- gary (dr. skull)

from "Seinfeld" Season 5, Episode 84 - "The Fire"
Fireman: "How do you live with yourself?"
George: "It's not easy..."
It’s funny how you forget just how bad it feels
A steel beam crashing into the spokes of a wheel
A million tiny worms digging their teeth into your bones
Chewing you into a disgusting, fucking paste
Feeling so nauseous and hated and hopeless
it’s never where I thought I would be
I don’t know who likes me or who fucking
hates me and If I even want this degree
I used to trust people now I don’t trust people
and my bed is feeling more like a coffin
every day
I guess everything meant nothing
Just more people to start forgetting
The happy memories are just waiting
to remind you to never sigh in relief
It’s funny how you forget just how bad it feels
